One of the many things I have to be grateful for this Thanksgiving is you. I really appreciate the fact that you read my e-letters or posts
The primary purpose of this monthly communication is to drum up business. So I’m particularly grateful when you reply to explore an upcoming project or forward my e-letter to a potential client. Retweets and Facebook shares are also valuable.
But that’s not the only reason to thank you. Most subscribers never have the chance to send any business my way – but I’m still grateful.
There are probably millions of email newsletters and blogs out there about written communication. You, meanwhile, have a limited amount of time and energy to invest in emails that don’t come from your boss.
But you read this e-letter. I get a little thrill every time I see that you’ve opened one of my emails. It makes me feel proud and humble at the same time.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for sharing, if and when you do. I’m really glad you’re here.
